A computer program for documenting a member's Ohme collection has been on the SOIOP wish list for a long time.

What features would you like to see in a dedicated Ohme program?

Computer programs are available for organizing antique collections. See for example, "ReCollector" at http://www.collectingcatalog.com (I haven't used the ReCollector software myself). It may well be that ReCollector, or programs like it, might be adaptable for use by Ohme collectors.

What features would you like to see in a dedicated Ohme app?

I would like the app to:

know Ohme blank names, Old Ivory patterns, filigree identifiers and grading, and use a pre-defined method for identifying and classifying clear glaze patterns (so many patterns!);

photo uploads and tagging

document purchase and disposal information and receipts;

tag pieces with descriptors and identifiers (for example, tag all Holly pieces with "Holly");

storage location information (for example, by address, room, cabinet, and shelf location) or by user-defined schemes

reporting

How do you document your Ohme collection?

Would you like it to be "pure Ohme", or useable with non-Ohme pieces as well?
