The Society for Old Ivory and Ohme Porcelains 2009 Convention and Annual Meeting is being held at the Embassy Suites, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on April 16th - April 18th.
Highlights this year include the sales tables, "Ugly Ohme" contest, Show and Tell, educational programs, a trip to the Rural Life Museum, a viewing of the Kuttruff Collections and the annual Old Ivory Auction.
The hotel is located off of the College Drive exit (#158) from I-10, and is about 5 miles away from Downtown Baton Rouge. Many restaurants and shopping are located within 2 miles of the hotel. Two riverboat casinos are located near the downtown area. The hotel's shuttle is available for airport transportation upon request between 6:00am and 10:00pm daily.
